The Munich Residence is open daily.
It is only closed on the following days: 1 January, Shrove Tuesday and 24 / 25 / 31 December.

1 April-19 October: daily 9 am-6 pm (last entry: 5 pm)
20 October-31 March: daily 10 am-5 pm (last entry: 4 pm)

Fountain machinery in the Court Garden

The fountain machinery can be viewed every day. It is in operation from April to October daily from 10 am to 2 pm.

Guided tours

There are no regular guided tours through the Residence; visitors can go around on their own.

But you can make use of our free audio guide. Audio guide tours are available for the Residence Museum and the Treasury in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic.

It is also possible to book special guided tours in English for groups (adults or children).
