The Munich Residence is open daily.
Public holidays: all the buildings are closed on 1 January, Shrove Tuesday and 24, 25 and 31 December.

Treasury

Fountain machinery in the Court Garden

The fountain machinery can be viewed every day.
It is in operation from April to October daily from 10 am to 2 pm.

 

Information for visitor groups: There is no reservation required for groups at the Munich Residence.

Guided tours

There are no regular guided tours through the Residence; visitors can go around on their own.

But you can make use of our free audio guide. Audio guide tours are available for the Residence Museum and the Treasury in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian.

It is also possible to book special guided tours in English for groups.
